What inspired me to write my book
Being in corporate for several years, I have observed that youngsters join corporate with lot of passion, hope and aspiration. They want to work hard and move forward in their career. So many time, I have seen, they lose their way due to that “coveted” promotion not happening, or the “salary hike” not coming. For those who eventually move up, they are now faced with life cycle changes that constantly logs head with career. People who fail to balance end up disillusioned. Even at the leadership stage, if one makes it to, things can go wrong because of the complexity and scenarios. This made me wish that if there could be a tool pack at each stage in the career that can guide us in these difficult times, it would make traversing these phases a little easy and much more engaged and involved. Hence this book.
What is my book about
My Book is not a biography. It is a tool pack. The book outlines three stages in the corporate ladder: Apprentice phase, Master Craftsman phase and Leadership phase. The book also introduces a concept called Professional Quotient (PQ) which is the combination of skills, attitude and outlook. It explains what is the composition of PQ at each stage and how to acquire the desired level of PQ through various frameworks, experiences and scenarios.

My book can benefit both professionals who are already working in the corporate sector and students who are aspiring to join the workforce. Both can use this as a guiding compass to build an engaging and fulfilling corporate life.
